Intelligent Health Systems’ Materials Management System simplifies the logistics of inventory management. The system consists of several modules, including Purchasing, Receipts, Requisitions, Transfers, Cart/Par Level/Lost Charges, Vendor Statistics, Physical Inventory, and Reports. The Materials Management System is fully integrated with Intelligent Health Systems’ Accounts Payable and General Ledger applications.

- Complete inventory management and control. Multiple company and stock location capability. Item master maintenance with multiple vendor detail records.
- Central or distributed purchasing. Automatic generations of purchase orders based on reorder criteria.
- Electronic transmission of purchase orders.
- Edit purchase order capability with audit log of charges. Receives goods in multiple units of measure with comment capability.
- Captures vendor statistics automatically regarding on time deliveries, backordered, damaged, missing or substituted items.
- Tracks capital items through serial numbers and tag numbers.
- Produces pick lists in shelf location order to facilitate filling requisitions.
- Automatically fills stock out orders for departments when stock is replenished.
- Tracks initial fill rate on requisitions.
- Allows transferring from one company and/or stock location to another.
- Cart/Par Level features including lost charges tracking.
- Physical inventory features support cycle inventories by category.
- Integration with Accounts Payable for purchase order and receipts verification.
- Option of automatic General Ledger entries, automatic accrual of payable for inventory.
- User-controlled purges of transaction files and delete of vendor and item master records.
